MISSOURI, USA — Silver Dollar City's "An Old Time Christmas" seasonal event will return on Nov. 2, according to a release.

This weeks-long event offers a multitude of attractions that promise a retro Christmas spirit. With over 6.5 million Christmas lights around the park, giant musical Christmas trees, Christmas carols, shows, parades and rides, this event has been ranked USA Today's Best Theme Park Holiday Event six times in recent years.

Silver Dollar City offers a light display called Christmas In Midtown that includes 50-foot light tunnels, running reindeer, flying angels, a 90-foot Christmas tree, and photo opportunities that can be turned into Christmas cards. There are also "Broadway-style" classic productions such as "A Dicken's Christmas Carol," with special effects.

Rudolph's Holly Jolly Christmas Light Parade includes lighted floats, dozens of costumed characters, 12-foot-tall elves, giant candy canes, and marching wooden soldiers. The animated parade also features giant drumming bears, cymbal-playing penguins, and much more. A meet and greet with Rudolph will also be available.

Silver Dollar City's Frisco steam train will take you on a ride to enjoy the lights while listening to music or a storytime.

Santa will be at SDC through Dec. 23 to jot down his list of toys to get this Christmas. Guests can visit him at his cottage, take pictures with him, and tell him what they wish for this Christmas.

The last day for the event is Jan. 4, 2025.
