MERIDIAN, Idaho — Christmas in Color drive-thru holiday lights spectacular starts Friday, Nov. 15 in Meridian, Idaho this year.
The light show chose to set up in the parking lot of Roaring Springs Water Park instead of Expo Idaho.
Work began in early October to create a mile long light show.
It features over 1-million LED lights synchronized to music, a 65-foot Christmas tree with 15-thousand lights and a 700-foot light tunnel which Christmas in Color says is the world’s longest.
Roaring Springs Marketing Director Tiffany Watts said the new location is more easily accessible.
"Christmas in Color chose to move from the fairgrounds to the Roaring Springs parking lot, because Roaring Springs is such a central location in the Treasure Valley with easy access right off the freeway. In fact, you'll be able to see a 65-foot tall lit up Christmas tree light up the night sky as you drive by," said Watts.
The drive-thru show takes about a half hour to view.
Showings begin November 15th and run through January 4th.
It costs about $35 per car and there are upgrade options with holiday themed toys and an ornament.
