Christmas Light Parade will bring holiday spirit to downtown Shipshewana

The annual Lighting of Shipshewana and Christmas Light Parade will kick off Saturday.

This is the 17th year of the event in downtown Shipshewana, which marks the start of the holiday season.

The parade will start at 7 p.m., followed by the lighting ceremony.

Activities will happen all day starting at 10 a.m.

From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., Santa will make a visit with his reindeer.

Organizers say this year will be one of the biggest light parades ever done.

The event is free for all to attend.
