DULUTH — We are four weeks away from opening day for the 2024 Bentleyville season, but Wednesday evening, those who glanced at Bayfront Festival Park received a sneak peek as some of the lights were lit.

Earlier this month, volunteers started assembling the attractions, including the 128-foot-tall tree. This year marks the 15th anniversary of the tree and with the milestone was a renovation, as approximately 150,000 LED lights were removed and replaced with new RGB technology lighting, using the colors of red, green and blue to create a variety of different colors.

The season will wrap up Saturday, Dec. 28. Hours will be 5-9 p.m. Sundays through Thursdays and 5-10 p.m. Fridays and Saturdays. The walk-through light show is free to attend, while parking will be $10 per vehicle. For more information, visit bentleyvilleusa.org.

2024 is the 21st anniversary of Bentleyville “Tour of Lights.” For 16 years, it has been held at Bayfront Festival Park. Prior to that, the attractions were held at founder Nathan Bentley's homes in Esko and Cloquet.
